San Diego

We spent part of our trip to Southern California in San Diego. We went to Old Town San Diego and to the Mormon Battalion.  Loved being there. 

 

Michael and Joseph were so excited to be picked to dress up and hold the muskets.

Michael took this job very seriously.

We also had a great time at the San Diego Zoo.  We had never been there before and although crowded it was super fun.

The highlight was seeing the baby panda (even though we had to wait in line for a half hour to see him).

So cute!

And this is a mama Panda.

I think flamingos are so cool.

And this reminded me of Finding Nemo.

The kids loved the koala.

This experience began Isaac's fear of large character animals.
