We had the amazing privilege of going on an Alaskan cruise with my family for a week! We loved every second of it. We left Sunday morning and hooked up with some of my family to spend some time in Seattle before getting on the ship.
We went to the Public Market. The flowers there were gorgeous and cheap. I wished I could buy some to take home right then.
We went down to check out the Seattle Great Wheel.
We went to breakfast at the diner (with Rob Reiner, ha, ha).
We boarded the ship and went to the Muster station for life preserving lessons.
We then went to an awesome video concert (can you detect my sarcasm?) of Barry Manilow. Scott and Sam went to his concert years ago which we always give them a hard time about. It was a fun reunion for them.
| One of Scott's "surprise" meals from the waiters. |
| We went to a fireside that evening where John Bytheway spoke and Jenny Oaks Baker and children performed. Hearing them talk and perform several times was definitely a highlight of the cruise. |
