Paper Lantern

For a Young Women activity we are lighting these paper lanterns, at least 40 of them. We wanted to test them out with our families to make sure they worked and they were "safe". After going to Orange Leaf for FHE, we decided to light it up and see what happened. Below are pictures of the process.

Although there was a small hole in it we got it to take off.

So cool...

Eventually it burned out and started falling.  I thought it was really far away but Michael decided to chase after it with Emma and Joseph chasing after him.  He ended up in a cul de sac about 3 blocks away and actually caught it as it landed.  Very fun night!
