Darling Daughters

Emma is 6! I love her cute hair...thank goodness for curlers!

Megan is 12! She doesn't need curlers.

Sweet sisters.  They get along most of the time which is good because they now share a bedroom!

Megan got "kidnapped" for breakfast ( at 6 am) by her two friends.  She was totally surprised and totally out of it!  She had no clue what was going on.

I love this picture because it is so Megan and Thomas.  Thomas is always helping his big sister, even with putting on her necklace!  Megan was thrilled with some new clothes, a little jewelry, and a new vanity/desk for her bedroom.

Thank goodness Aunt Kath sent this shirt two years ago.  She loves to wear it on her birthday!  She wanted coffee cake and smoothies for her birthday breakfast!  Emma was thrilled to get a toy dog and gum (2 whole packs).  That was all she even asked for was gum!  Funny girl!

And here's Megan on Emma's birthday since we missed her usual birthday breakfast because of the kidnappers!

Didn't make cakes for the girls this year.  I got this little cake at Walmart for Emma (and we still had leftovers from it) and Megan got to go out with a couple of neighborhood friends.  Emma and Megan both had soccer games on their birthdays so the days were both kind of uneventful.  But they both were happy nonetheless!  Happy Birthday my wonderful daughters!  They are truly delightful.

I love this picture because of Emma's silly look but also because in the background you can see those white pieces of paper taped to the kid's lockers.  Emma made each child a paper "cell phone"and put them on their locker.  It is so Emma-like to do something like that.  She stayed up way too late making them the night before.
