Youth Conference

I had the opportunity to go to Youth Conference last month.  On the way up to our campsite we had a  photo relay race.  It is weird to be on the other end of these races.  Wasn't I the one just barely participating in these things with a Polaroid camera?  Our group came in 2nd and we had a lot of fun.

We had to take a picture of us reflecting.  This is at our kid's school.
With the ice cream guys at Maceys.

Helping someone with groceries.  We asked another couple but they declined.  Then we found this lady with one bag who was nice enough to let us carry her one bag for us :).

Making a word.  No one wanted "Hi" so we decided on "Do".
We were lucky to find these fly fisherman along the way up Provo Canyon.

Here is part of our group playing unity games.  They had to work together to make a shape out of rope with their eyes closed.  They did an awesome job!
My tent partner, Jen Anderson.  We endured 2 nights of no sleep in the tent below.  The wind kept us up most of the night (and fear of ticks).
Afterward we had to set up all the tents and clean them out before we could store them.  We had about 9 tents sprawled all over our lawn and the neighbor's next door.
We had a great time and I'm grateful for opportunities like this that make me grow!
